Postpartum hemorrhage affects 1-3% of all deliveries and is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. The presentation will review risk factors and management strategies for postpartum hemorrhage. In addition, the presenter will cover postpartum mental health after traumatic deliveries.

Meet the instructor

Erin Bailey, MD

Erin Bailey, MD, completed her MS in epidemiology and medical training at the University of Wisconsin and residency at Washington University in St. Louis. A Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist, she directs the Complex Obstetric Surgery Program, providing comprehensive care for patients with placenta accreta spectrum across the region.
