Meet the instructor

Andrea Rebisch, BSN, RNC-OB, C-EFM

Andrea Rebisch has 20 years of obstetric nursing experience, which includes both bedside nursing and as the clinical educator role. She is also an AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Instructor as well as an NRP Instructor. In addition, she facilitates multidisciplinary simulations and supports an OB Nurse Residency Program.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Review fetal monitoring data systematically to identify the fetal heart rate pattern classification (category).

  • Describe interventions/management of the fetal heart rate patterns based on pathophysiology.

  • Determine communication plan with other team members to ensure safe outcomes for birthing person and infant.
