Meet the instructor

Sreevalli Atluru, MD

Sreevalli (Sree) Atluru graduated with honors in biology and political science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and attended the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed a family medicine residency at Oregon Health & Science University focused on substance use care and now provides obstetric and primary care at UW Health Deforest-Windsor.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Describe trauma-informed care of pregnant people with substance use disorder (SUD).
  • Describe clinical tools to screen and refer to treatment for SUD.
  • Counsel pregnant patients on harm reduction practices.
