Cannabis, whether it is legal or not, is an increasingly commonly used drug in pregnancy (prevalence 5-25%). Our knowledge about its effects on pregnancy lags significantly behind our need to know. The current status of the research will be presented.

Meet the instructor

Charles W. Schauberger, MD, MS, DFASAM, FACOG

Dr. Schauberger is a retired obstetrician who found addiction medicine to be a passion late in his career, He remains active in researching and writing in the field of addiction and pregnancy. He reviews many manuscripts for medical journal and gives numerous presentations on subjects related to this field.
